Situated in the East Hertfordshire village of Buntingford, The Buntingford Kitchen is our popular restaurant. Since opening, the restaurant has attracted many fans, and has already been presented with several awards.
In June we were delighted to pick up two awards at the Hertfordshire Food and Drink Awards. The Buntingford Kitchen was voted best Fine Dining Restaurant, as well as the overall winner at the awards ceremony. “I was not expecting it at all,” said Damian Clarkson, “When they read our name out I had to double check what it was.”
September saw the restaurant receive another accolade, this time a Good Food Award. Formed in 2002 the Good Food Award was established to provide a unified Award system throughout the United Kingdom representing Good Food. 101 restaurants have been selected out of 491,779 listed food premises; two award-winning restaurants are located in Hertfordshire.
Damian Clarkson said: “We are thrilled to have received a Good Food Award, based on the great reviews of our valued customers. We look forward to sharing our new seasonal dishes with our Buntingford customers and continuing to showcase brilliant local produce.”
The restaurant is also now rated no.1 of all Buntingford restaurants on Tripadvisor – take a look at our recent reviews.
