Kitchen Wizardry with Fernando Laposse

A recent event at the Whitechapel Gallery gave our guests the chance to experience the magic of Fernando Laposse’s sugar-sculpted drinks, alongside a menu of delicious London Kitchen canapés and bowl food.

We love food that combines delicious flavours with the element of surprise. These drinks and dishes work particularly well at events, really grabbing guests’ attention!

Our team loved the magic of Fernando Laposse’s sugar-sculpted cocktails. Fernando injected sugar sculpted globes with Green Pernod Absinthe, before dropping them into the cocktails. The show-stopping drinks went down very well with our guests, accompanied by some of our finest canapés.

During the theatrical drinks reception, guests enjoyed Baked Fillet of Cod with Caramelised Chorizo, Thai Chicken on Lemongrass Skewers, Seared Sirloin of Beef, Rhubarb Puree and Horseradish Cream on Bagel Crisps and Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls with Mixed Peppers, Spring Onions, Cucumber and Fresh Mint.

Following canapés, our team served a bowl food menu of chicken Massaman – chicken breast with a fresh curry sauce, coconut milk and peanut with fragrant coconut rice, seared salmon and aromatic lentils – seared fillet of salmon, coconut and chive mash with a chorizo and lentil cassoulet and Singapore noodles with shiitake and ginger, with pork tenderloin, chicken breast and prawns.
