The season of yuletide feasting has come to a close, but don’t start contemplating those January diets just yet, we’re in the business of tempting you away! Our indulgent wintry menus are set to steal the show at upcoming events in London and beyond, and we’re looking forward to showing off the best of British seasonal produce throughout the colder months.
A few new faces have joined the ranks of The London Kitchen team to help us kick off 2014 in style, so please allow us to introduce our new Operations team, in all their glory.
Damian – Managing Director
Damian heads up The London Kitchen team, bringing with him decades of experience in the industry. Following an extensive career working for some of the biggest names in event catering from The Admirable Crichton to Rhubarb Food Design and Mosimann’s, Damian felt it was about time to set up his own event catering company, and so The London Kitchen was born. He’s looking forward to pulling out all the stops for 2014’s weddings, spending more time with new London Kitchen partners in Kuwait and introducing some exciting new venues over the coming year.
Jay – Senior Event Planner
Jay is a longstanding member of our Operations Team, and has worked with Damian since 2008. With a degree in Events and Hospitality Management he is taking the London Events industry by storm. As much as Jay enjoys working on our high-brow events, he’s also been seen serving burgers and chips at a charity fun run or delivering sandwiches to the team at 5.00am. This year he’ll be whipping up plenty of feasts, and continuing his ‘burger tour’ of London…one patty at a time.
Jeremy – Operations Manager
With professional chef and waiter training under his belt, as well as long stints for restaurant group Bodean’s and in event production, Jeremy is well-armed to deal with all the logistical challenges of events catering. A recent recruit to The London Kitchen crew, Jeremy has already become the ‘go to guy’ for any last minute conundrums.
Rachel – Event Planner
Event Planner Rachel joins our planning team following extensive training at the London Metropolitan by COMO Hotel. Rachel has a degree in Politics, and brings with her a new level of finesse and an eye for detail. We’re looking forward to seeing the stunning events she pulls together in 2014.
Ami – Event Planner
Ami graduated from Leeds University with a degree in Events Management and swiftly moved in to the fast-paced world of events, working for high end event management company ‘The Angels Events’ in Harrogate before honing her sales and marketing skills as Business Development Manager of The Grill on the Square in Leeds. Since joining The London Kitchen, Ami has taken on some key clients and assisted with the planning and management of some of our largest events, including a Fan Rally for 300 VIP NFL fans. Ami’s attention to detail and creative eye had led to some sensational events already, let’s see what 2014 has in store!
