The Roundhouse has teamed up with The London Kitchen to offer exclusive summer parties throughout May, June and July 2015 at the Roundhouse Rooftop Garden. Event space The View from The Shard is situated at the top of The Shard, across floors 68, 69 and 72. The space is almost twice the height of any other viewing platform in London, offering your guests the chance to experience a cloudscape above the world. The venue can accommodate up to 300 guests.
Hackney hotspot Netil House’s stunning, sprawling Netil360 rooftop is the perfect habitat for summer events. This summer independent Spanish brewery, Estrella Galicia, presents a two month rooftop residency at Netil360 too.
The Bussey Building (also known as the Bussey Warehouse and The CLF Art Café) is situated is one of Peckham’s leading centres for the creative arts. The Bussey Building is spread over multiple floors and has a 5,000 square-foot panoramic rooftop—with 360 degree views of London—that has staged parties with London promoters such as Krankbrother and Secretsundaze.
The gardens at The Roof Gardens are spectacular and best of all, they’re open to the public to visit free of charge (when there are no events on). The space is hidden on top of the old Derry and Toms (later Biba) department store, one hundred feet above Kensington High Street. Once you emerge out of the lifts a 1.5 acre expanse with spectacular views opens up to you, divided up into three distinct areas; traditional English, formal Spanish and Tudor.
A light, spacious and stylish setting, the Harvey Nichols Roof Terrace is the perfect spot for entertaining. Guests can enjoy a tipple on the terrace, overlooking the Knightsbridge rooftops.
The latest incarnation of the Selfridges Roof Terrace is inspired by a Cornish fishing village, with a menu comprising of delicious grills, light salads and grains, plus an elegant afternoon tea menu. The new Drift Bar, specialising in unabashedly British G&Tea cocktails, craft beers and English sparkling wine is another great destination for enjoying skyline views and summer sun.
Peckham rooftop bar Frank’s is the sort of open-air venue that a competitive, cosmopolitan city as London should aspire to. The rooftop is the flagship architectural commission of Bold Tendencies in Peckham. The bar was designed by Practice Architecture (Paloma Gormley & Lettice Drake), and opened in 2008 by bartender Frank Boxer and chef Michael Davies.
Framed by the city skyline, Dalston Roof Park is a rooftop oasis which transforms what was once forgotten space into a traditional English Garden brimming with Herbs and Hops into a summer party venue fit for a king!
