Last week Building Six at the O2 was transformed for a promotional event to show off this year’s creative Christmas theming to event bookers.
The Party in a Pear Tree Christmas extravaganza was created in collaboration with creative event production company, Theme Traders.
No Christmas event would be complete without some delicious catering, so our team were on hand to provide bowl food dishes such as Christmac ‘n’ Cheese, bangers and mash and ‘Boxing Day’, a bubble and squeak potato cake topped with honey glazed gammon and a quail’s egg.
At the Hipster Bar, guests discovered six jars of chocolate truffles – two edible chocolate jars and four glass ones. The good swan’s chocolate truffles contained delicious chocolate truffles filled with Brandy Cream, Stem Ginger and Orange. The bad swan’s were a less pleasant experience – these truffles were filled with cabbage, sage and onion and cranberry.
A manapé-sized dessert was another treat in store for guests. Glazed cinnamon doughnuts dusted with edible glitter looked perfectly festive amongst the Christmas theming.
During the event, guests were taken on a journey over three floors, where they experienced the Turtle Dove Tunnel of Love, a Truffle Test Lab, a Gorilla Rave Test Box and a stormy Feather Chamber.
Christmas characters were out in force at the event, including Bryan the Elf, who was delighted to have guests celebrating Christmas nine months early, and festive Creators who guided the privileged guests through their creative genius ahead of this year’s season of Christmas Parties in a Pear Tree.
