Our summer event season kicked off with a luxurious canapé reception in the grounds of the Victoria & Albert Museum in June, for 205 guests. We absolutely love the V&A Museum. It is one of the most incredible venues in London and is always such a privilege to work there. These photos were taken at a party last week. The reception took place in the John Madejski Garden and the weather was kind to us!
Guest tucked into Spiced Thai Fish Cakes with a Wasabi Mayonnaise, Home Cured Hendricks’s Gin Salmon with Tonic Caviar on Blini Pancakes, Smoked Mackerel on a Potato and Celeriac Rosti and Mini Eggs Royale canapés as they soaked up the sun at this exclusive Kensington venue.
Also on the menu was a selection of meat canapés such as Rosemary Skewered Marinated Spring Lamb with a Pea and Mint Dip, Miso Glazed Beef Fillet Skewers, served with Spring Onions, Rolled Chicken Breast in Parma Ham with Truffle Oil, Red Wine Gel and Crispy Sage and Seared Sirloin Beef, Rhubarb Puree and Horseradish Cream on a Bagel Crisp.
Vegetarians were treated to Pea and Mint Tartlets with Creamed Feta, Enoki Mushroom Wrapped in Mouli with Pickled Ginger and Wasabi Powder and Mediterranean Vegetables Marinated in Garlic and Thyme Oil Served on a Toasted Bruschetta Red Pepper Pesto.
Of course canapés need not always be savoury – our guests loved the dessert canapés of Mini Treacle Tarts with Orange Cream, Prosecco and Fresh Summer Berry Jelly served in shot glasses.
