We headed to the historic Old Billingsgate for this swinging 60s inspired event. The vast space looked fantastic with its themed décor, complete with giant floral arrangements as modelled by our very own Jay!
The event included an evening conference, before guests moved into the East Hall where our food stations had been set up. We began with bowl food, which was served to guests as they enjoyed their drinks reception of prosecco and gin gimlet cocktails.
The bowl food menu kept with the sixties theme, including retro dishes such as scampi and fries and mini sausage toad in the hole with gravy.
The food stalls were also straight from the swinging sixties, including dishes such as chilli con carne and mac ‘n’ cheese. Dessert canapés included the classic sherry trifle, and salted caramel peanut butter lollipops with popping candy.
