The Hertfordshire Food and Drink Awards finals took place this week, and we were delighted to pick up two awards for our Hertfordshire restaurant, The Buntingford Kitchen which was voted Best Fine Dining Restaurant, as well as Overall Winner at the awards ceremony.
The winners are nominated and voted for by the local community. Winners and runners-up were announced across 13 categories, before we were revealed as the overall champion.
“I was not expecting it at all,” said our Managing Director Damian Clarkson, “We are thrilled enough to be finalists, let alone win and to be awarded overall winner is such a great honour. In celebration of our victory, champagne will be discounted to £5 a glass for the whole of June!”
Other plans for the future include a local produce menu, which will see ingredients only selected from the local area, in addition to our regularly changing menus based on seasonal ingredients.
