A client hosted a daytime conference at Old Billingsgate, followed by an evening celebration, complete with bowl food and street food stalls created by our team.
Following the day’s events, 1,000 guests returned in the evening and were greeted with drinks and bowls of our popular dishes, including Posh Dauphinoise Potato Shepherd’s Pie and Celery and Apple Salad with Adrahan Cheese Dressing and Toasted Walnuts.
Live cooking stations added a touch of theatre to proceedings. Huge vats of bubbling aged English cheddar, Welsh Rarebit and Stilton were found at the ‘Flip Reverse Fondue’ station, where guests saw their chosen cheeses poured over brioche soldiers, before toppings including Smoked Bacon Lardons, Grilled Mushrooms, Caramelised Onions or Grilled Tomatoes were added.
A traditional take on the ever-popular classic fish and chips, our ‘Codfather’ stall served cones of Battered Cod Goujons with Tartare Sauce, Mushy Peas and Lemon Wedge, complete with wooden chip forks.
Whilst guests enjoyed the evening’s entertainment including shows and awards presentations, delicate desserts were served. These included shots of Seasonal Berry Eton Mess, and Salted Caramel Peanut Butter Lollipops perched on a Chocolate Stand.
