The Roundhouse is one of capital’s most unusual event spaces. Situated in the heart of Camden, this legendary venue has hosted some of the world’s most famous musicians,  and now it is available for private hire.

The London Kitchen are delighted to cater at the impressive spaces of the Roundhouse. Here we have provided an avant garde menu for fashion focussed guests who needed something to complement their creative catwalk show, as well as creating a sumptuous three course meal for a lavish Roundhouse awards ceremony. In fact, we’ve even broken records at this venue for the fastest and most efficient dinner service.

The aptly named Christ Church dates back to 1714, and is representative of the iconic design work of Nicholas Hawksmoor. It’s a masterpiece of a building and a showstopper of an events venue. Having faced demolition in its past, Christ Church rose from the ashes and in 1976 was restored to its former glory.

Centrally located just minutes from Liverpool Street station, this magnificent Grade I listed building offers versatile spaces for private, charitable and corporate events. We think it’s got the wow factor (in abundance).

The Foundling Museum is reaped in history and ever so handsome. The Museum was once Britain’s first home for abandoned children, before going on to do wonders for the cultural awakening of Londoners becoming Britain’s first public art gallery.

The Foundling Museum is now available for private hire, and makes an ideal space for an event with a bit of creative flair. Weddings, receptions, dinners and corporate events have all been held in the vast Brunswick Square building, where guests can occupy all four floors or pick one of its galleries for a more intimate gathering.

The London Sketch Club is one of the capital’s best kept secrets. This distinctive space is an historic graphic artists’ club, located in the heart of Chelsea. The club is over 100 years old and boasts an impressive reception room adorned with many a curiosity.

This vast event space was born at a time of artistic innovation and prosperity. Recent years have seen an extensive renovation project return the venue to its former grandeur, creating a magnificent London event space.
Fully equipped for all occasions, The Bloomsbury Ballroom features high ceilings, sprung flooring, a built in stage and state of the art lighting and sound systems.

The London Kitchen created the ultimate shopping experience for Lalique, enabling guests to browse the products of Lalique’s awe-inspiring Conduit Street store in the lap of luxury.

Guests enjoyed canapés and Champagne by The London Kitchen as they learnt more about the impressive Lalique collection. We have also used the shop’s breathtaking products as a backdrop for elegant drinks receptions.

BMW’s Park Lane showroom has hosted many a prestigious event, with catering provided by The London Kitchen, of course. One such event was BMW’s grand opening, where guests dined on The London Kitchen’s finest canapés as they feasted their eyes on BMW’s latest models.

The event was attended by a host of famous faces from the London 2012 Summer Games, including Olympic ambassador Sebastian Coe, gymnast Louis Smith, the entire British Hockey team and paralympic swimmer Ellie Simmonds. On the menu were a host of delicious miniatures, including smoked salmon tartare, 28 day aged Scottish beef encased in tiny Yorkshire puddings and filo tartlets filled with blistered cherry tomatoes, smoked applewood and black olive ragout.

One Mayfair, One Marylebone

Built in 1825, One Mayfair has recently reopened its doors following an extensive restoration. This historic Grade I listed building is one of the largest event spaces in Mayfair, and features grand interior decor throughout.

An impressive main space is surrounded by original pillars and neo-classical arches, whilst light floods in from vast stained glass windows. An elevated mezzanine encircles the main  space, providing additional space for entertainment or breakout areas.
It’s sister venue One Marylebone is equally as impressive, with the original Sir John Soane design restored to its former glory and now a Grade I listed building. Situated on its own ‘island’ in the heart of London, One Marylebone lends a sense of grandeur and purpose to any event.

This consists of Royal Festival Hall (reopened in 2007 after a two-year transformation), the Hayward Gallery, Queen Elizabeth Hall (containing the Purcell Room), and The Saison Poetry Library. Events large and small are perfectly suited to the very flexible Southbank Centre.

The venue is perfectly situated in the heart of the action alongside The London Eye, and just around the corner from The London Kitchen headquarters.

The Artliner Wind Tunnel Project, Farnborough

Farnborough’s historic wind tunnels are to launch as private event spaces in 2014, as part of Artliner’s Wind Tunnel Project. The Grade I listed flight-testing warehouses, located beside TAG Farnborough Airport, will be transformed into a unique, contemporary venue for private and corporate events, exclusively catered by The London Kitchen.

The tunnels, named Q121 and R52, are suited to private and corporate events for up to 350 guests.Opened in April 1935 Q121 is the largest wind tunnel in Great Britain and the largest return type tunnel in Europe. The building is the most complete and imposing example in the world after the Full Scale Tunnel at Langley in the US. The venue is to be fitted with vintage military furniture, with a 30ft mahogany wood blade used at the very beginning of British aviation creating an unusual focal point in the space.

R52 dates back to 1917 and is an extremely rare display of British heritage. A smaller space than Q121, the venue is of great historical importance, with much of the twentieth century’s aeronautical research being carried out here. Guests will be invited to explore the pilot’s control cabin, where testing dials still remain intact. The venue can accommodate up to 350 guests.

The spaces can also be hired individually for more intimate events, making this venue one of the most flexible in town.

If it’s high-tech wizardry you’re after you won’t be disappointed at Building Six. The venue offers advanced sound and lighting technology, a body kinetic dance floor, projection facilities and a strobe system – it really is London’s ultimate multifunctional venue.

There’s also a mezzanine level, and unrivalled outside space which creates an impressive al fresco room.

Building Six is perfect for all manner of events, including product launches, showcases, after shows, receptions, conferences and dinners.

The View From The Shard

Designed by Master Architect Renzo Piano, The Shard stands at a height of 1,016ft (310m), and is officially the tallest building in Western Europe. This iconic, landmark building has recently redefined the London skyline, so if you’re looking for a venue to impress it doesn’t get much better than this.  

Event space The View from The Shard is situated at the top of The Shard, across floors 68, 69 and 72. The space is almost twice the height of any other viewing platform in London, offering your guests the chance to experience a cloudscape above the world. The venue can accommodate up to 300 guests.

The Goldsmiths’ Centre is suitable for exhibitions, conferences, product launches, photo shoots, private dining, screenings, receptions, rooftop entertaining and business meetings for up to 250 guests.
