A Creative Christening

And what comes after the wedding? A christening of course! The London Kitchen were delighted to cater for the christening of Natasha and Nicolas’s new arrival. One hundred and ten guests were treated to Champagne and canapés on arrival, as well as ‘mocktails’ – Ginger Beer with Lime and Mint and Traditional Lemonade with Strawberry Purée.

A buffet was then served, but this was no ordinary buffet! On the menu was Butterfly Loin of Lamb with Garlic and Rosemary, Carved to Order, Sliced Rump of Beef with Slow Roasted Vine Tomatoes, Grilled Scottish Langoustines with Parsley and Lemon Butter, Monkfish and Tiger Prawn Brochette with Coconut Marinade, Salmon Fillet and a Caramelised Red Onion Tart Tatin – but the real star of the show was the incredible Suckling Pig, a top secret family recipe known only to the proud grandmother…and the TLK chefs!
