We’ve Launched Our Spring/Summer Menus

We’ve kicked off the New Year in the tastiest of ways – with a Spring/Summer menu tasting at The London Kitchen HQ. Specially invited guests enjoyed a three-course feast of seasonal favourites, and as always the focus was on stunning seasonal produce and picture perfect presentation.

 

A bespoke twitter activated light installation by Light Motif adorned the walls of our kitchens. The light installation was based on a London skyline, with our London venues appearing on it. Each time a venue team tweeted their venue would become animated, with bubbles rising from venues and much more! Take a look at Light Motif and what they can do here. The decor was complemented by floral displays and table centres by Pinstripes and Peonies.

We welcomed guests with a selection of our favourite new canapés. We served Spiced Carrot and Potato Rosti with spring Lamb Kofta, Cucumber Yoghurt and micro coriander, Tuna and Salmon Tartare, marinated in lime dressing on sweetcorn, chilli and polenta with avocado mousse and Honey and Sherry Macerated Beets – With Goats cheese mousse and oranges, served on a crispy taco shell.

Guests then tucked into main courses of Chicken and Spinach Ballotine – Served with a sweet corn cream, glazed baby carrots and crushed new potatoes, or pan-seared Sea Bream served with a Pea, Tomato and Asparagus Fregola, and a garden pea sauce. Our vegetarian option was a Summer Vegetable Spaetzle with asparagus, peas, courgettes, mixed peppers and pea puree.

On the dessert menu were plenty of bold, fresh flavours. Guests made the difficult decision of choosing between Strawberry tart with Honey Mascarpone, Vanilla Chantilly and an Aged Balsamic glaze or Madagascan Vanilla Panna Cotta with Prosecco-poached figs, shortbread crumb and summer berry compote.

Our food is sourced from quality suppliers throughout the UK and Europe. We believe in understanding where our ingredients come from and take pride in knowing all of our suppliers personally. Our menus are entirely animal cruelty-free, we use free range, cage free and grain fed meat, and all of our fish comes from MSC sustainable sources.
