As the colder weather draws in, a bounty a new seasonal produce begins to take pride of place on our menus. We launched our winter menus last week, at an exclusive tasting in our kitchens. Specially invited guests enjoyed a three-course feast of winter favourites, and as always the focus was on seasonal produce and beautiful presentation.
Guests tucked into a starter of Sauté of Scottish Langoustine tails with Parmesan Gnocchi and an Emulsion of Potato and truffle, or Autumn Vegetables with Whipped St Maure Goats Cheese served with Toasted Walnuts.
Guests were then served a main course of Fillet of Venison Served with Dauphinoise, Braised Red Cabbage, Orange Glazed Carrots and a Juniper berry Jus, or a vegetarian option of Butternut Ravioli with Deep Fried Sage, Beurre Noisette, Toasted Pinenuts and Parmesan.
On the dessert menu was a Chocolate Orange Tart with Pistachio Ice Cream or Blackberry & Port Jelly with Cinnamon Shortbread and Juniper Ice Cream.
The meal was rounded off with Freshly Brewed Columbian Blend Coffee, a selection of Tea Pigs Whole Leaf Tea and Salted Caramels.
